Download A Brand New Doctor Who Tenth Doctor Short Story From Tales Of Terror

A new Doctor Who compilation featuring a story with the Tenth Doctor and Donna Noble, as portrayed by David Tennant and Catherine Tate in the hit TV series, is set to be released in hardback and audio book on 7 September 2017.

The spine-chilling new collection of twelve illustrated adventures, packed with terrifying Doctor Who monsters and villains, just in time for Halloween . . .

Written by Jacqueline Rayner, Mike Tucker, Paul Magrs, Richard Dungworth, Scott Handcock and Craig Donaghy, each story stars an incarnation of the Doctor on a brand new adventure in time and space.

Each also features a frightening nemesis for the Doctor to face, plus appearances from favourite friends such as Sarah Jane, Jo, Ace and Donna.

VIDEO: David Tennant & The DuckTales Cast Attempt Donald Duck's Voice

Disney's all-new DuckTales splashed down on Disney XD in the USA and Canada last week and was met with great critical approval, introducing a whole new generation of fans to the daredevil exploits of a family of adventuring ducks. One big thumbs up from viewers young and old was the inclusion of Donald Duck as a main character, voiced by the same actor as in the original 1987 version of the show, Tony Anselmo.

The cast of the reboot attended San Diego Comic Con last month to promote the show, and during their press calls David Tennant and his co-stars Toks Olagundoye and Beck Bennett had a crack at Donald's iconic voice - with disturbing results! Watch below:




DuckTales launched with an hour long special on Disney XD last weekend in the USA and Canada. If you missed it, you can catch re-runs on Disney XD next week, and US fans can watch the whole episode for free via YouTube. The series proper launches from September 23rd.

David Tennant To Take Part In Charity Celebration At Winchester Cathedral For The Murray Parish Trust And Breast Cancer Haven

David Tennant will be amongst a host of stars taking part in a special charity celebration at Winchester Cathedral this December.

David will join his Broadchurch co star Olivia Colman at the event which has been organised to raise funds and awareness for Breast Cancer Haven in Titchfield and The Murray Parish Trust.

The latter is a charity set up by David's friends, actress Sarah Parish and her husband, actor James Murray who founded the charity after they lost their first daughter Ella-Jayne to a congenital heart defect. It supports the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at University Hospital Southampton.



Sarah said of the event: "We are so lucky to have such big names supporting this event and we will be doing everything we can to ensure that this will be a night to remember to raise as much funds as possible for these two incredible local charities."

Also in attendance at the event on 7th December will be Downton Abbey star Hugh Bonneville and actor Timothy West CBE.

NEW PROJECT: David Tennant Joins Cast Of Mary, Queen Of Scots

David Tennant will be joining stars Saoirse Ronan and Margot Robbie in the new Focus Features and Working Title movie, Mary, Queen Of Scots. The film marks the feature directorial debut of Josie Rourke, the artistic director at the Donmar Warehouse, who also directed David in the 2011 stage production of Much Ado About Nothing. 

David plays an as yet undisclosed character in the film which follows the early life of Mary Stuart, who became Queen of France at 16 and a widow aged 18. It will also explore her relationship with Elizabeth I, rivals in power and in love, and female regents in a masculine world. Mary's claim to the English throne, her determination to rule as more than a figurehead is a threat to Elizabeth's sovereignty.

Martin Compston plays Mary's third husband, the Earl of Bothwell, and the cast also includes Jack Lowden, Joe Alwyn and Guy Pearce.

Mary, Queen Of Sots began shooting this week and is scheduled for release in 2018.

David Tennant On His Good Omens Casting: "It's A Dream Team And A Dream Gig"

David Tennant was announced as the demon Crowley in the TV adaptation of Good Omens, the much-loved novel by Neil Gaiman and the late Terry Pratchett earlier this week and he's spoken of his delight at being signed to star in the project.

 “Michael Sheen, Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett and directed by Douglas Mackinnon, it’s a dream team and a dream gig. I am very excited that I’ve been asked to be part of this amazing project. Bring on the Apocalypse!” declared David.

 David will star opposite Michael Sheen who takes on the role of the angel Aziraphale. The highly anticipated adaptation will be co-produced by BBC Studios with Narrativia, the production company of Pratchett’s daughter Rhianna, and the Blank Corporation, in association with BBC Worldwide for Amazon Prime Video and the BBC.

The critically acclaimed award-winning drama Broadchurch concluded its third and final series on BBC America last night.

The series saw David Tennant and Olivia Colman star as detectives Alec Hardy and Ellie Miller, who were reunited in the hunt for the perpetrator of a serious sexual assault.

The final episode saw Hardy and Ellie uncover the truth behind the rape and lives in Broadchurch are changed forever...

David spoke to Yahoo! about the end of an era... “I think the journey that Miller and Hardy go on is so beautifully summed up in that final scene,” David says. “They’re both broken people, really. They’re people who don’t have anyone other than each other. They’re sort of the closest thing to best friends that the other one has. They’re both kind of disconnected from their families, and they’ve been through some terrible, bruising experiences. They feel like slightly incomplete human beings.
