Choosing the Old Town in Warsaw David says "It's an extraordinary, epic piece of ambitious rebuilding, after the war Warsaw was flattened, absolutely flattened and in the years after the war the people of Warsaw, I suppose it's a symbol of their indefatic ability, of their refusal to be beaten down, rebuilt part of the city  exactly as it had been brick by brick from some architectural drawings that had been made."
