Today is the last day you can vote for David Tennant in this
year's TV Choice Awards. He is nominated for Best Actor for his thrilling
performance in the three part legal drama The Escape Artist (BBC One).
Voting closes tonight at midnight BST.
In The Escape Artist
David starred as a junior defence barrister with a perfect track record. Will
Burton has a seemingly perfect life – a loving family, career on the ascent, a
second home in the country – but all is changed forever when he takes on the
case of the suspect in a brutal murder case. David picked up the Best Actor
prize last year for the role of DI Alec Hardy in Broadchurch. This year he faces tough competition in the form of
Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock), Allen Leech (Downton Abbey) and Bradley
Walsh (Law & Order: UK).

The TV Choice Awards, now in their 18th year, are the only major awards wholly voted on by TV viewers themselves. The winners will be announced live from The London Hilton on Park Lane on Monday 8th September.
