The brand new online behind-the-scenes Doctor Who show, Doctor Who Extra, will be available worldwide from episode two. The confirmation was made earlier today via the official Doctor Who Twitter feed.

Extra is a 'making
of' show and more. Each ten minute episode gives the inside take on series 8
from the people who made it through unparalleled access to the stars, guests,
writers and crew. Every edition also takes a look back at the Doctor Who
archives to examine how the episode fits into the show's 51 year history: so
look out for appearances from David Tennant, Matt Smith, Christopher Eccleston
and the classic Doctors.
For UK viewers, Doctor Who Extra will follow each week's broadcast of Doctor Who on BBC One, available online on BBC iPlayer or via the BBC's Red Button. For viewers outside the UK the show will be on BBC iPlayer only.

Doctor Who continues with episode 2, Into The Dalek, on Saturday 30th August at 7.30pm BST on BBC One and at 9pm/8c on BBC America
