Japanese broadcaster WOWOW begin airing the award winning UK drama Broadchurch tonight.
The first episode will be available at 9.00pm on WOWOW Prime as a free-to-air broadcast. Following that the entire series will be broadcast in one day on Saturday 27th September starting from 3pm (episode 1 will be free-to-air once again).

Broadchurch is a peaceful seaside town in the UK. On the shore, the body of Danny, a boy of 11 years, is discovered. It falls to Alec Hardy, a detective newly arrived in Broadchurch, and his local colleague Ellie Miller to lead the investigation into the residents of the town, starting with Danny’s family. The secrets held by the inhabitants of Broadchurch are revealed one after another.... there are dozens of suspects and the lives of the inhabitants are complex. How can they find the real culprit?
