BROADCHURCH: Ólafur Arnalds Soundtrack Nominated In BAFTA TV Craft Awards

Ólafur Arnalds' haunting soundtrack to the second series of Broadchurch has been nominated in the 2016 British Academy Television Crafts Awards. The score is shortlisted in the Original Music Category alongside Anne Dudley (Poldark), Ben Foster & Nick Foster (Thunderbirds Are Go!) and Steven Price (The Hunt).

Icelandic musician and composer Arnalds won the same award in 2014 for his soundtrack to Broadchurch Series 1.

The annual BAFTA Television Craft awards celebrate the best behind-the-scenes talents in British television. The 2016 awards will be handed out in a ceremony on Sunday 22nd April held at The Brewery, London, hosted by Stephen Mangan. The full list of nominations is available here.

The Broadchurch soundtrack, combining music from both series of the award-winning ITV drama, is available to buy here.

The third and final series of Broadchurch starring David Tennant and Olivia Colman goes into production in May for broadcast in 2017. The series is once again written and produced by the new Doctor Who showrunner Chris Chibnall.
